Pattern Group (PTRN) has been granted US Patent covering its proprietary methodology for calculating "True ROAS," a metric designed to measure incremental return on ad spend across digital marketplaces, the company said Friday.

The patented system improves ad performance analysis by combining short- and long-term factors with experimental and non-experimental data to more precisely measure product-level advertising impact, the company said.

Shares of Pattern were up 1.4% in recent Friday trading.
