BOE Technology Group (SHE:000725, SHE:200725) signed a memorandum of cooperation with U.S.-based Corning Incorporated for the development of substrates and other related products, according to a Shenzhen bourse filing on Thursday.

The products will include glass-based packaging substrates, foldable glass, perovskite glass substrates and optical interconnect-related applications.

The memorandum is valid within three years.

The Chinese electronics components producer's A shares jumped 10%, while B shares climbed 7% during the morning trade.
