Contango Silver & Gold (CTGO) said Tuesday it has started the 2026 Kitsault Valley surface drill program in British Columbia, with three active diamond drills and two more drills expected to come online next week.

The program will consist of about 40,000 meters of drilling focused on infill and resource expansion at the Dolly Varden deposits, the Wolf deposit, and the Homestake Ridge deposits, the company said.

It added that about 10,000 meters of the program will involve exploring holes in the Kitsault Valley and other areas.

Drilling will support a new resource update along with a preliminary economic study expected to be completed in H1 2027, the company said.
