Sunshine Silver Mining & Refining said Tuesday it has launched its initial public offering of 20 million common shares expected to be priced between $13.50 and $16.50 per share.

Underwriters will be granted a 30-day option to purchase up to 3 million shares, the company said.

The company said its common stock has been approved for listing under the ticker symbol SSMR on the New York Stock Exchange, subject to an official notice of issuance.
