Elbit Systems (ESLT) obtained a contract valued at roughly $350 million from an overseas client to upgrade main battle tanks, the company said Thursday.

The 4-year plan involves installing updated fire control mechanisms, electrical turret drives, and positional awareness equipment, and to prolong the operating lifespan and boost the combat capabilities of the vehicles, the company said.

The project incorporates lightweight digital optical sights equipped with artificial intelligence features to assist with night operations and target tracking, Elbit Systems said.
