Dycom Industries (DY) reported fiscal Q1 adjusted net income Wednesday of $4.42 per diluted share, up from $2.39 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.72.

Contact revenue for the fiscal quarter ended May 2 was $1.96 billion, up from $1.26 billion a year earlier.

Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $1.67 billion.

For fiscal 2027, the company increased its contract revenue guidance to between $7.38 billion and $7.65 billion, up from its previous $6.85 billion to $7.15 billion. Analysts polled by FactSet expect $7.07 billion.

Shares of the company were up more than 21% in recent premarket activity.
