1352 ET - NASA seems interested in boosting smaller space companies outside of SpaceX, KeyBanc analyst Michael Leshock tell WSJ. NASA earlier this week awarded hundreds of millions of dollars in grants to non-SpaceX companies to support its plan of building a base on the Moon, fueling a rally across the sector. The agency wants "to have two or three options if they're trying to build something out on the moon or launch something into low Earth orbit," Leshock says. "They're highly motivated to shift away from overreliance on any one company, and so I think that's kind of the opportunity for these smaller companies." (elias.schisgall@wsj.com)
