0750 GMT - Remy Cointreau earnings landed slightly ahead of consensus but the focus is on the company's transformation plan that points to a gross 100 million euro EBIT uplift by fiscal full-year 2029, Jefferies analyst Edward Mundy writes. The 100 million euro figure implies a 60% uplift from fiscal 2026 levels, but Jefferies says it is unclear to what extent this will be reinvested behind growth initiatives. While EBIT and EPS have come in ahead of expectations, guidance for the year ahead could prompt downward pressure on consensus, largely driven by currency, the bank adds. Consensus models 5.4% organic EBIT growth this year versus guidance of slight organic improvement. Guidance for a negative currency effect on EBIT of 5 million to 8 million euros compares to consensus at 4 million euros. Shares rise 11%. (dominic.chopping@wsj.com)
