Costco Wholesale (COST) reported late Wednesday net sales of $24.01 billion for May, up from $20.97 billion a year earlier.

Total company comparable sales for the four weeks ended May 31 rose 12.5%, the company said.

Costco reported 8.7% growth in May US comparable sales excluding impacts from changes in gasoline prices and foreign exchange.
