Revolut Co-founder, CTO Vlad Yatsenko Steps Down to Become Nonexecutive Director

British digital bank Revolut said Co-founder and Chief Technology Officer Vlad Yatsenko will step down and become a nonexecutive director of the board.

The fintech said Thursday that Yatsenko will step down as CTO from July 1 and be replaced by Donato Lucia as vice president of technology.

In a message to staff Yatsenko said he was content with his decision, as "Revolut has grown from a young, ambitious startup into a mature, highly impactful global company."

Lucia joined Revolut in April 2018 and has held several engineering leadership roles.

Revolut--which was founded in 2015--has grown into Europe's most valuable private fintech, with its valuation reaching $75 billion in a secondary share sale last year.

The firm runs an app that lets users make payments, trade assets and hold money.
