Smith-Midland (SMID) has received a Nasdaq non-compliance notice for failing to timely file its quarterly report for the period ended March 31, the company said late Wednesday.
The company said the notice does not immediately affect its listing.
Smith-Midland said the filing delay resulted from the unexpected resignation of a key accounting employee, which disrupted its quarter-end financial reporting process.
It added that the employee has been replaced and the company is working to complete its financial statements and file the report as soon as possible.
