Zenas BioPharma's (ZBIO) obexelimab met all primary and secondary endpoints with "statistically significant" results in a phase 3 study in patients with immunoglobulin G4-related disease, the company said Tuesday.

Obexelimab "significantly" lowered disease activity and flare-ups as well as glucocorticoid use compared with placebo in the 52-week study, the company said.

The drug's safety profile was also comparable to placebo, the company said.

Immunoglobulin G4-related disease is an autoimmune disorder.
