MannKind (MNKD) said Wednesday that it has completed patient randomization in its US Phase 1b INFLO-1 clinical trial evaluating nintedanib DPI for idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis, a chronic lung disease.
MannKind said it expects to report data from the INFLO-1 study in Q3, providing an initial clinical assessment of safety, tolerability, and pharmacokinetics in patients with idiopathic pulmonary fibrosis.
Additionally, the company said it has enrolled the first of an expected 210 participants in its global Phase 2 INFLO-2 study, set to be conducted across about 85 sites.
