Sealsq (LAES), STMicroelectronics (STM), Isalt, and Bpifrance led a 130-million-euro ($150.9 million) series A funding round for Quobly, supporting the French quantum computing company's growth and commercialization efforts, Sealsq said Wednesday.
The investment, made through Sealsq's Quantum Fund, will support Quobly's industrialization of silicon-based quantum processors and the deployment of its first commercial systems.
As part of the transaction, Sealsq Chief Executive Carlos Moreira will join Quobly's board, the company said.
