Stellantis (STLA) will produce three new electric and hybrid Peugeot models at its Mulhouse facility in eastern France from 2029 as part of its STLA One platform, Reuters reported Tuesday.

The launches will be supported by a 400 million euro ($464.5 million) investment in the plant and 500 million euros for R&D, mainly for the STLA One platform, which will support a new electrified vehicle range starting with the Peugeot 208 in 2027, according to the report.

Stellantis Chief Executive Antonio Filosa said the company targets 2 million vehicles annually on the STLA One platform by 2035, Reuters added.

Shares of Stellantis were down 3.5% in Wednesday premarket activity.

Stellantis did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
