KULR Technology (KULR) has signed a prototype agreement with a US military drone maker to develop and test lithium-ion battery systems for UAVs and ground control platforms, the company said Tuesday.
The contract includes design, development, testing, certification support, and production-readiness work, with KULR noting that such programs typically precede volume production and can lead to long-term supply relationships if the platforms are deployed.
The deal aligns with rising US defense drone spending and reinforces KULR's role in domestic battery supply chains, the company added.
