0516 GMT - Norway's government bond auction on Wednesday is the fifth this year that includes the September 2029-dated bond, "reflecting high demand for this shorter tenor," say SEB strategists Erica Dalsto and Marthe Eide in a note. Bid-to-cover of this bond has averaged 3.67 in the previous four auctions, the Norway strategists say. Wednesday's auction also includes the June 2036-dated bond. "The market appears rather balanced, and with the choice of bonds and a limit of 3 billion Norwegian kroner we expect a rather strong auction," the strategists say. (emese.bartha@wsj.com)

0515 GMT - India's upcoming GDP data is likely to show the economy lost steam in the final quarter of the fiscal year ended March, DBS's economics team says. DBS estimates that real GDP growth moderated to 7.2% on the year from 7.8% the prior quarter. The slowdown was likely driven by softer industrial activity, freight traffic, exports, as well as imports of goods, DBS's Radhika Rao and Daisy Sharma write in a note. Government capital and revenue expenditure likely also remained weak. They see a further moderation to 6.9% growth in the next GDP print. For FY 2026, official projections put the economy's expansion at 7.6%, broadly in line with DBS's 7.7% forecast. (fabiana.negrinochoa@wsj.com)
