VinFast-backed Green SM Rolls Out Electric Taxi Service in India

VinFast Auto-backed (VFS) Green SM said Monday it has launched its electric taxi service in New Delhi, India, expanding its international electric ride-hailing footprint.

The service uses the VinFast Limo Green seven-seater electric SUV and is supported by trained drivers and safety systems, including AI-enabled monitoring and emergency support features, Green SM said.

The company said India is its fifth market, after Vietnam, Laos, Indonesia, and the Philippines.

VinFast Auto shares were down more than 5% in premarket activity Monday.
