Viking (VIK) said Thursday it took delivery of the Viking Annar and the Viking Fjolvar river ships built at Meyer's Neptun Werft shipyard in Germany.
The Viking Annar features 95 staterooms to host 190 guests for trips across the Rhine, Main, and Danube rivers, the company said.
The Viking Fjolvar contains 84 staterooms to accommodate 168 passengers for Seine River voyages round-trip from Paris, it added.
The cruise operator expects to receive 22 additional river ships by 2028 alongside nine ocean ships, and two expedition vessels by 2031, the company said.
