Singapore Exchange's (SGX:S68) securities turnover value zoomed 70% year over year in May to reach SG$45.8 billion, according to a Wednesday bourse filing.

Securities daily average value jumped 79% year over year to SG$2.4 billion, the highest since October 2007, the data showed.

In May, the STI index hit an all-time high of 5,072.

Meanwhile, ETF net inflows stood at SG$129 million, while small and mid-cap SDAV's were up 24% month over month.
