Mithril Resources (ASX:MTH) intercepted high-grade silver and gold in three of six drill holes completed at the El Refugio area, within its Copalquin property in Mexico, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.

Results include 7.25 meters grading 4.01 grams per tonne grade of gold and 225.1 g/t silver, or 7.22 g/t gold equivalent.

Upcoming work will focus on expanding mineralized zones, testing new targets, and integrating district-wide geophysical data, per the filing.

Shares fell nearly 2% in midday trade on Wednesday and earlier hit their lowest since September 2024.
