The Trump administration plans to meet executives from the biggest US defense companies at the White House as soon as next week to discuss boosting production after US strikes on Iran and other recent military operations reduced supplies, multiple media outlets reported late Wednesday.

The leaders of about seven defense contractors are expected to be pressed by President Donald Trump to find ways to quickly increase output of weaponry for the Pentagon, NBC reported, citing two people familiar with the meeting's details.

A March meeting included the CEOs and other top officials from Lockheed Martin (LMT), Northrop Grumman (NOC), RTX (RTX), Boeing (BA), L3Harris Technologies (LHX), BAE Systems, and Honeywell International's aerospace unit, Reuters reported.

The White House did not immediately respond to a request for comment from MT Newswires.
