Solidion Technology (STI) has decided against a previously planned offering and has withdrawn its previously filed registration statement on Form S-1 with the US Securities and Exchange Commission, the company said Wednesday.

Shares jumped 29% following an increase in intraday trading volume to almost 3.81 million from a daily average of about 2.56 million.

Lakeland Industries (LAKE) shares surged 19% amid heavy trading after the company unexpectedly swung into the black in fiscal Q1 late Tuesday.

More than 560,000 shares of the company traded intraday compared with a daily average of about 101,000.

Needham initiated Hyliion (HYLN) with a buy rating and set a $9 price target on its shares.

Shares of Hyliion were up 9.8% amid a surge in intraday trading volume to nearly 4.69 million from a daily average of roughly 2.96 million.
