USA Rare Earth (USAR) has commissioned its hydro-metallurgical demonstration facility in Wheat Ridge, Colorado, the company said Monday.
Production of separated oxides is expected in Q3, the company said.
The oxide production is expected to be supplied from a number of sources, and the resulting oxides are planned to feed the company's Less Common Metals subsidiary, the company said.
Shares of the company were up 5.9% in recent premarket trading.
