Australian Clinical Labs (ASX:ACL) said an unauthorized party gaining access to a limited part of its unit SunDoctors' systems after an external IT service provider used by SunDoctors experienced a cyber incident, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

SunDoctors confirmed data was accessed by the unauthorized party, with a small portion being taken from the SunDoctors system. The unit's data review confirmed that the "vast majority" of data involved includes basic contact information and some health information, mostly connected to skin cancer checks and related testing.

At this stage, there is no evidence of any information being disclosed online, it added. SunDoctors contacted around 280,000 individuals out of an abundance of caution to make them aware that their information was potentially involved, offer support, and to ensure it is upholding its obligations. It also notified the Australian Cyber Security Centre, the Office of the Australian Information

Commissioner, and the National Office of Cyber Security.
