The company said it has purchased about 1,440 acres of land at Astra Enterprise Park, near Kansas City, to develop a hyperscale data center for roughly $475 million in cash and common units in its operating partnership.

Digital Realty said it plans to purchase an additional 16% stake in data center platform, Teraco, from certain minority shareholders for about $650 million.

The company said it plans to acquire Columbia Capital for about $485 million, primarily by issuing 2.3 million common shares.

The Teraco and Columbia Capital deals are set to close in the second half of this year, subject to customary closing conditions, the company added.
