DMC Global (BOOM) said Monday its NobelClad unit expanded its composite metals manufacturing capabilities in the Americas by introducing weld overlay services.

The new offerings use automated and robotic manufacturing systems to handle diverse component configurations for extreme industrial settings, the company said.

The services target critical infrastructure hardware like pressure vessels, valves, and piping assemblies that function in highly corrosive or high-temperature environments, it said.

The expanded segment provides additional corrosion and wear defense for applications in the oil, gas, and chemical processing fields, DMC Global said.
