CGI (GIB) said Tuesday that its Insula software platform is being used by the European Space Agency for its Phisat-2 mission.
Insula processes large volumes of satellite data enabling advanced analytics focusing on trend detection, anomaly monitoring and predictive modelling, the company said.
Phisat-2 is a miniature satellite, also known as a cubesat, that is intended to show how different artificial intelligence technologies can be used to observe Earth from space, according to the European Space Agency.
