Workday (WDAY) will face court claims that its AI human resources software discriminated against applicants with disabilities in possible violation of California and federal rules, news outlets reported Monday.
US District Judge Rita Lin in San Francisco rejected Workday's claim that state anti-discrimination laws don't apply to people applying for jobs in other states and countries, Reuters reported.
The class action targets hiring based on algorithms, the reports said.
Workday did not immediately reply to MT Newswires' request for comment.
