KMD Brands (ASX:KMD, NZE:KMD) said it will consolidate its ordinary shares on a 1-for-25 basis, reducing the total number of shares on issue, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian and New Zealand bourses.

The company will consolidate every 25 existing shares held on July 1 into one share, reducing the total shares outstanding to around 72 million from about 1.8 billion, the filing added.
