Major digital assets rose Friday with Bitcoin (BTC-USD) holding above $59,000.

The CoinDesk Market Index, which tracks dozens of digital assets including Bitcoin, rose 2.2% in the past 24 hours. The Nasdaq 100 fell 0.3%, while the S&P 500 and the Dow Jones Industrial Average each dropped 0.1%.

Bitcoin gained 1.2% to $59,899, according to CoinMarketCap data. The most popular cryptocurrency's 24-hour trading volume declined 1.4% to $42.2 billion.

Ethereum (ETH-USD), the second-largest digital asset by market value, rose 1.3% to $1,578.

XRP (XRP-USD) gained 1.3%, BNB (BNB-USD) increased 2.2%, and Solana (SOL-USD) rose 11%. Dogecoin (DOGE-USD) added 3.2%, while Cardano (ADA-USD) gained 4.5%.

The US 10-year Treasury yield stood at 4.371% at 3 p.m. ET Friday, down from 4.390% Thursday, while the five-year yield fell to 4.128% from 4.162%.

The total market value of the cryptocurrency industry rose 1% in the past 24 hours to $2.07 trillion, with trading volume declining 4.4% to $93.3 billion.
