Westpac Banking's (ASX:WBC, NZE:WBC) Westpac NZ renewed its 11-year loyalty partnership with Air New Zealand (ASX:AIZ, NZE:AIR), allowing the bank's customers to continue to earn points through the airline's Koru program, according to a Tuesday statement from the bank.

The lender had researched into ways it can help them customers more value out of their card spending, especially at a time where costs are high for many, said Simon Macdonald, Westpac NZ head of everyday banking products. Additional "rewards innovations" was on the way.
