AirJoule Technologies shares rose Tuesday after the company unveiled its full-scale AirJoule Prime system, designed to generate water from air for industrial customers.

Shares of the atmospheric water-generation company were up 16% at $5.32. The stock is up more than 80% over the past three months.

The company said AirJoule Prime, which it is developing through a joint venture with GE Vernova, can produce up to 2,000 liters of distilled water a day using low-grade waste heat generated by industrial operations. The system is aimed at customers including data centers, industrial facilities, military operations and communities facing water shortages.

AirJoule said the system has been operating at its Newark, Del., facility since May and is planned to be deployed in Europe as part of a project demonstrating the technology's use in data centers.

The company said the launch marks a key step toward commercializing its atmospheric water-generation technology.
