AMP's (ASX:AMP) retirement and investment platform North partnered with estateXchange to provide an integrated service for estate planning and intergenerational wealth transfer, the wealth management and retail banking company said in a statement on Wednesday.

The partnership establishes a digital channel for handling inheritance claims and deceased estate administration, the company said. The integration allows advisers, solicitors, accountants, and beneficiaries to upload and share documentation once through a secure digital channel.

AMP's shares rose past 4% in morning trade Wednesday.
