Andean Silver (ASX:ASL) said infill drilling results highlighted the future scope for conversion to the measured and indicated categories from inferred resources at its Cerro Bayo silver-gold project in Chile, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.
Drilling at the Laguna Verde mine complex resulted in intercepts of 2.4 meters at 15,558 grams-per-tonne grade of silver equivalent, including 1,882 g/t grade of silver and 164.8 g/t grade of gold, as well as 3.1 meters at 3,356 g/t grade of silver equivalent, including 2,541 g/t grade of silver and 9.8 g/t grade of gold.
