Aurinia Pharmaceuticals (AUPH) has initiated PRESERVE, a Phase 4 multicenter study evaluating Lupkynis in combination with belimumab, obinutuzumab or anifrolumab in patients with lupus nephritis, the company said Monday.

The study will enroll approximately 150 patients across about 50 US sites and will assess the proportion achieving complete renal response at six months as the primary endpoint.

Aurinia said the trial is designed to evaluate a multitarget treatment approach in a disease with continued unmet need.
