Helen of Troy (HELE) raised its fiscal 2027 sales outlook after a stronger Q1 while maintaining its earnings guidance, suggesting its full-year earnings outlook could prove conservative given the strong start, UBS Securities said.

The brokerage said in a Wednesday note that stronger-than-expected sales and operating margins drove an earnings beat. It expects the quarterly results to be viewed positively.

UBS said investors are likely to focus on the timing of earnings throughout the fiscal year and whether the company's maintained fiscal 2027 earnings guidance leaves room for upside after the stronger-than-expected first quarter.

The company now expects fiscal 2027 net sales of $1.76 billion to $1.83 billion, up from its previous guidance of $1.75 billion to $1.82 billion. The company maintained its adjusted EPS guidance of $3.25 to $3.75. UBS's fiscal 2027 estimates were for net sales of $1.79 billion and adjusted EPS of $3.55.

UBS has a neutral rating and a $25 price target on the stock.

Shares of Helen of Troy were up more than 11% in Thursday trading.
