Sigma Lithium (SGML) shares rose 1.1% in afternoon trading on Friday after the company said late Thursday it exceeded its Q2 production guidance by 6%, delivering 35,000 metric tons of high-grade lithium concentrate, compared with the prior guidance of 33,000 metric tons.

Sigma's Cleantech Industrial Plant exceeded expectations, achieving 70% lithium recovery from spodumene ore and delivering around 20% yield, the company said.
