Biohaven (BHVN) said late Thursday that Chief Scientific Officer Bruce Car will retire from the role and transition to the newly created position of chief innovation officer, effective July 13.

Car will remain with the company as a part-time employee in his new role, where he will continue to support innovation initiatives.

Separately, Warren Volles, the company's general counsel and chief legal officer, has been designated an executive officer and will continue to lead Biohaven's legal function.
