Visa (V) added Thredd to its Agentic Ready program to support agent-initiated payments for issuers across Europe, Thredd said Wednesday.

Consumer payments platform Zilch will be among the first issuers on its platform to enable agent-initiated payments for cardholders, the company said.

The program allows issuers to participate in agentic commerce without rebuilding their payments infrastructure, Thredd said.
