Tactile Systems Technology Expands Compression Therapy Portfolio With ElastiMed Distribution Deal

Tactile Systems Technology (TCMD) has signed an exclusive US distribution agreement with ElastiMed to commercialize ElastiMed's MyoSleeve wearable compression device for patients served by the Department of Veterans Affairs and the Department of Defense, Tactile said Monday.

The agreement stipulates that Tactile Medical holds exclusive US distribution rights for MyoSleeve within the Veterans Affairs and Department of Defense systems, Tactile said.

Tactile said it has made an upfront payment of $3 million to ElastiMed.

The company has also committed to certain minimum purchase obligations, as well as marketing and sales support, it said.
