GE Vernova Q2 Orders Likely Ahead of Consensus, BofA Says

GE Vernova (GEV) is expected to report $19.6 billion in Q2 orders, driven largely by its power and electrification businesses, BofA Securities said in a note Thursday.

This represents 1.8x book-to-bill and 59% growth from a year ago, and modestly exceeding market consensus of $19.4 billion in orders, the report said.

Revenue and adjusted EBITDA are expected to be in line with consensus for the quarter, the note added.

"Electrification is most likely source of upside, with recent buy-in of the Prolec joint venture yielding incremental orders," the note said. The Q2 results are due July 22.

BofA kept its buy rating and a price objective of $1,310.
