ManpowerGroup (MAN) reported Q2 net earnings Thursday of $1.13 per diluted share, swinging from a loss of $1.44 a year earlier.
Four analysts polled by FactSet expected earnings of $0.86.
Excluding charges from restructuring and transformation costs, the company said adjusted earnings was $0.99 per diluted share. Analysts expected $0.95.
Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $4.86 billion, up from $4.52 billion a year earlier.
Analysts expected $4.72 billion.
The company said it expects Q3 diluted EPS to be between $0.96 and $1.06. Four analysts polled by FactSet expect $0.92.
Shares of ManpowerGroup were up more than 11% in premarket activity Thursday.
