Samsung Electronics (KRX:005930) introduced its Flex Titanium display technology on Wednesday, which will be applied to next-generation Galaxy foldable devices, the electronics products maker said in a same-day release.

The company redesigned the display structure to enhance visual immersion, a strength of foldable products. The new titanium dual structure replaces the plastic film with a titanium alloy film and pairs it with an upgraded titanium plate, the release said.

Shares of Samsung Electronics fell more than 7% in recent trade.
