IM8, a nutritional supplements company co-founded by Prenetics Global (PRE) and David Beckham, has lined up about $1 billion in growth financing from General Catalyst, Bloomberg reported, citing a statement.

General Catalyst's Customer Value Fund will finance up to 70% of IM8's marketing costs, and the venture capital firm will receive a share of the income, capped at a certain threshold, the report said.

Prenetics and General Catalyst didn't immediately reply to requests for comment from MT Newswires.
