Epiminder (ASX:EPI) said it has now enrolled 50 patients in a US clinical study evaluating the Minder system as a tool to improve clinical decision-making for patients with epilepsy, according to a Thursday filing with the Australian bourse.

The company hit the enrollment milestone in the Detect study ahead of its mid-third quarter target, and remains on track to enroll 210 patients by the end of the first half of 2027, per the filing.

The Minder system is an implant placed under the scalp to continuously monitor brain waves.

"With 20 leading epilepsy centers now actively enrolling, we are seeing genuine, demonstrated adoption of the Minder System in a clinical setting," said Epiminder CEO Rohan Hoare.

The company's shares gained over 1% in recent Thursday trade.
