Dogwood Therapeutics (DWTX) said Monday it has enrolled the first 200 patients in its phase 2b trial evaluating its experimental therapy, Halneuron, for chemotherapy-induced neuropathic pain, keeping the study on track for top-line results in fall 2026.

The company said the randomized trial is expected to enroll about 210 to 240 patients with moderate to severe neuropathic pain caused by platinum- or taxane-based chemotherapy.

Participants receive eight subcutaneous doses of Halneuron or placebo over 14 days and are followed for four weeks, the company said, adding that an independent statistical review committee previously found unblinded data showed Halneuron-treated patients separating from placebo on pain improvement, while the study's dropout rate remained at 4.5%.

The primary endpoint is the change in average daily pain intensity at four weeks, with secondary endpoints evaluating sleep, fatigue, neuropathy symptoms and overall health, Dogwood Therapeutics said.
