Marsh & McLennan (MRSH) reported Q2 adjusted net income Tuesday of $2.96 per diluted share, up from $2.72 a year earlier.

Revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $7.40 billion, up from $6.97 billion a year earlier.
Analysts surveyed by FactSet expected $7.28 billion.
The company's shares were up more than 1% in recent Tuesday premarket activity.
