Equifax's Q2 Adjusted Earnings, Operating Revenue Increase; Q3 Outlook Issued

Equifax (EFX) reported Q2 adjusted earnings Tuesday of $2.25 per diluted share, up from $2 a year earlier.

Analysts polled by FactSet expected $2.20.

Operating revenue for the quarter ended June 30 was $1.70 billion, compared with $1.54 billion a year earlier.

Analysts expected $1.70 billion.

The company expects Q3 adjusted EPS of $2.15 to $2.25 and revenue of $1.68 billion to $1.71 billion. Analysts expect $2.26 in adjusted EPS on revenue of $1.71 billion.

For 2026, Equifax now expects adjusted EPS of $8.39 to $8.69, compared with its previous guidance of $8.34 to $8.74. Revenue for the year is now estimated at $6.71 billion to $6.78 billion, from $6.69 billion to $6.81 billion previously. Analysts expect $8.62 in adjusted EPS on revenue of $6.77 billion.

In addition, Equifax said it signed a definitive deal to acquire Circulo de Credito for an enterprise value of $750 million. The company expects to close the transaction in Q4.
