Kenvue's (KVUE) Kenvue Brands unit received approval for its Tylenol with Naproxen combination tablet to provide up to 12 hours of pain relief in adults and children 12 years and older, the US Food and Drug Administration said Friday.

The nonprescription combination product is indicated for temporary relief of minor aches and pains due to headache, backache, muscular aches, toothache, menstrual cramps, and minor arthritis pain, the FDA said.

The agency said the approval was supported by data showing the effectiveness and safety of the combination drug.

Kenvue shares were up about 1.1% in Friday trading.
